Ah Kong is an inspiration to many people. He was very kind, loving, forgiving, patient and encouraging person. He took good care of me since I was two months old till I was 17 years old. He is a grandfather with only kind words and seldom loses his temper, when I told him umpteen times that I was bored when I was a kid. He fed me very well and I miss his cooking. I will always remember him being at the school for me when most of my friends had their parents with them. There were times when I was feeling down, seeing him alone comforts me without having to tell him my problems. He is truly inspiring how he had battled cancer and perseveres during difficult times especially when we were poor. He is a man with little demands and has only well wishes for his family. He will reach out to his children, grandchildren and others if he knows you have problems, and when he couldn't reach you, he will find ways. Before I got to know of Ah Kong’s passing, I had an extraordinary silent and peaceful moment in my living room, with the lights and fan off and my daughter napping in the bedroom and five minutes later, I was told he has left to be with God exactly five minutes ago. He has touched many hearts and will never be forgotten. We will miss you very much.
