My dearest Dad, You had me when you were at the ripe age of 52. No words can describe my gratefulness to have you as my dad. You showed tremendous love and concern for your granddaughters who had turned 18 and 16. You were so timely, always taking your time to stop by at the room door to see Sharon, my firstborn every half hourly in the daytime when she was a baby. You had always looked over my younger daughter, Ayana when she did her homework after school. The words you spoke about your grandchildren were always good. Brightest, smartest, confident, most loveable! As a mother I was more than pleased to hear that spoken about my children especially from their grandfather. The time we spent together since you fell ill on 31 August 2011 was quality times that you taught me so much. Although it was you who needed care and comfort, you had spent time to teach me endurance, humility and love towards everyone. I will always remember preciously this treasure that dad inherited to me. Emptiness, sleeplessness, panic attack, restlessness, sadness took over me when dad left but I will cherish the moments and relationship we had and let it live on.
